2020 hit everyone hard, especially those of us in the beauty industry. For me it was an exceptionally hard year as I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at the beginning of lockdown. I underwent hell on earth with chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. So how does Bryght move onto products for cancer thrivers you ask? It was simple, as soon as my oncologist uttered these words; “your skin is going to burn, peel, blister and hyper-pigment make sure you use petroleum jelly” I knew that I needed to create products that were specific for these issues and that were; safe, easy to use, all natural, vegan and scent free for other cancer patients out there that wanted to feel normal. I immediately thought, "heck Bryght already specializes in hyperpigmentation for the most sensitive areas"! That is when I knew I could really make a difference, this was my calling, this was my purpose, this was why I got sick, this was my strength and courage.
